Lotus Notes. IBM’s be all and end all of email applications. Heaps of features, useability, it’s own dictionary and interface friendly (so they say). Yet when you include the term “Lotus Notes” in an email….created in Lotus Notes, and then you make the horrible mistake of pressing alt+e/ k (spell check) the first thing that comes up is….

The word Lotus does not exist in Lotus Notes Dictionary.

  2. I cannot reproduce your conclusion. (R7.0.1) In fact, after typing Lotus Notes in an otherwise blank email and running spell check I receive (No misspellings found). If I do intentionally misspell ltus the dictionary does indeed (as the first choice) suggest lotus.
